The terms, policies, and protections that shape the Scentie experience.

Welcome to Scentie Limited (“Scentie”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We sell premium, refillable car fragrances and run this website and online store (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify.
By using our Services, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Returns Policy, and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

We currently sell and ship within Nigeria only.
You must be 18+ (or have consent from a parent/guardian who controls the device).
Provide accurate contact, shipping, and payment info and keep it up to date.
You’re responsible for your account and password—don’t share or transfer your account.
We work hard to show products accurately, but colour/finish can look different across screens and lighting.
Scent strength and longevity can vary by car size, airflow, and climate (e.g., heat).
We may update product details, pricing, or availability at any time.
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when your payment clears and we send an order confirmation.
Please review your basket carefully, changes may not be possible after order completion.
Orders are for personal use only; we may limit or cancel orders at our discretion (no wholesale/bulk resale).
Returns/exchanges follow our Refund & Returns Policy.
Currency: ₦ (NGN).
VAT (7.5%) is added at checkout unless stated otherwise.
Prices and promotions can change without notice; the price at checkout is the price that applies.
Payments are processed by Paystack and Flutterwave. By checking out, you authorise recurring charges for any subscription you start. However, you can modify or cancel the subscription at any point in time.
Delivery estimates: Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt: 1–3 business days; Nationwide: 2–7 business days (estimates, not guarantees).
We use reputable carriers to deliver the products. Should your order not arrive within the stipulated time indicated above, kindly send us an email at help@scentie.co and we will look into it for you.
Undeliverable/refused parcels may be refunded minus actual shipping and a ₦2,000 restocking fee once returned to us.
Subscription Top Ups is once every 4 weeks. You can change frequency (e.g., every 8 weeks / every 2 months, etc.) anytime in your account.
We send email/SMS reminders 3 days before the next charge in WAT.
You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime before fulfilment. If an order has already shipped, you can return it unopened per our Refund Policy (customer pays return courier).
If you spot a Scentie charge you didn’t authorise, email help@scentie.co immediately with any proof (e.g., debit alert screenshot, bank statement). We’ll review and act appropriately (e.g., hold/cancel the order). Please also contact your bank at once to block the card and open a dispute.
Scentie will not be liable for cases not reported promptly or where we don’t receive enough information to investigate.
Use products as directed. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Mount hardware as instructed (visor/vent). Avoid spills, open flames, solvents, or extreme heat.
We’re not responsible for issues caused by misuse, improper installation, or ignoring instructions.
The Scentie name, designs, images, text, and other content on our Services are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Use them only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Scentie™ and related marks are our trademarks.
Our store runs on Shopify. We also use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Zoho One (email). Third-party sites and tools have their own terms and privacy rules. Your purchases are with Scentie, not Shopify; you agree Shopify isn’t responsible for your transactions with us.
If you post a review or send us ideas, you give us permission to use that content to run and improve our Services and for marketing. Only share what you own or have rights to. We may moderate or remove content that breaks the rules or the law.
Special offers have their own terms. Gift cards, free gifts, and promo items may be non-returnable. We may substitute with items of equal or greater value if needed.
Sometimes information (pricing, availability, typos) may be incorrect. We can correct or update it at any time, including after you order. If a correction affects your order, we’ll let you know and you may cancel for a refund.
Don’t use our Services to break the law, infringe IP, harass anyone, spread malware/spam, scrape without permission, bypass security, or resell/exploit the site. We can suspend or terminate access for violations.
Except where we say otherwise in writing, the Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available”—no guarantees of uninterrupted, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use them at your own risk. (Your consumer rights under Nigerian law still apply.)
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Scentie and our team won’t be responsible for indirect or consequential damages (like lost profits or data). Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order involved.
You agree to hold Scentie harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services or products, or violation of the law or someone else’s rights.
We may change, suspend, or end parts of the Services at any time. Sections that should reasonably survive (IP, Feedback, Disclaimers, Limits, Indemnity, Governing Law) will still apply.
You can’t transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We can transfer ours without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If there’s a dispute, please email help@scentie.co first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can’t resolve it, disputes will be handled by the courts in Abuja, Nigeria.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll note the effective date above and give notice of material changes (e.g., site banner or email). Your continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
